South Causey. Beamish

I fished south Causey last night for a few hours after work. The place is fishing very well, I had 5 fish on a drifted black buzzer and another 7 off the top on Shipmans and Sedges.

By 10 oclock the place was boiling with fish, couldnt drag myself away. A cracking evenings sport. Theres also a new lake under construction which is coming on nicely and looking very good.

Ticket prices start at £7.50 for a 4hr sport ticket, deffo worth a look up.

Eye I was fishing tonight aswell mate, I think you were fishine just down from me I was on the dam . how did you get on?

Nah you cant mate. you used to be able to on the small lake but its been drained, made into a bigger lake and is fly only.

What time can you fish there till, Should have a pop down its just down the road from me, keep driving over to Durham (Aldin grange) or Seaham (sharpley) when there is a lake 2 mins from me

Hes usually open till 10 mate. Have a look down its fishing its socks off at the moment.
