fished till 10, was alone for most of it, got one in, missed one and lost one trying to keep it out of the long grass! had a lush night with the lake to myself!

it's a great place, underated!

Nice 1 Tom mate, we were thinking of Causey lakes in a fortnights time, i take it you would recommend it
 
i would strongly recommend it jimmy mate, fish it into dark if you can, super friendly staff and beautiful lake, remember to get your ticket from the pub first, at the desk on the right!

cheers tom, we fished sharpley til around 8.30 last friday and it was pitch black when we left, i couldnt even see my van in the car park and it was only about 30 ft away.

yep i will remember to go to the pub for our tickets,any idea much for a full day or a long half day?

check em out bud, pretty much same as sharpies, i usually just fish for 4 hours coz me arm gets sore quick, (poor show for 26)

Cheers for the report Tom. Ive not been up in a few weeks must get meself there soon.

I got a text of Joe today to say that 'Trout Fisherman' magazine are going to be up there on friday afternoon. Might see if I can get afew hours off work.
 
sweet, good on em tempting a magazine to the seemingly distant north, i love the place, cannit wait to get back!!!!
