Fished south shields pier about 25 metres from first gate.fished between 3.00p.m and 6.00pm.used rag worm only.wind picked up considerably when i left.plenty of small whiting caught and returned safely.at about 5.00p.m l had a decent knock but again another whiting decent size.straight after another two knocks resulting in another whiting and guess what a plump coddie,about 3lb.well chuffed.all in all a canny couple hours which was entairtaining.try and post picture later lads.

Well done Mark on your cod. I've done well at that mark lately with plenty decent Whiting and the odd good codling.
