fished the round end from 9.30am till 5pm them move down to 44 mark till 8pm round end all undersize fish the 44 mark well clever me never bothered getting any rag there where a lot of place getting taken on rag tipped with mackrel one lad had 7 all size and up to lb1/2 l tryed with crab but no joy so headed home for my sundays dinner yum yum

I was down there this evening too, fished just before the 44 near the guy catching the Plaice. All I could manage were a few Dabs and a couple of Coalies. Moved onto the roundend after HT, fished there for the first couple of hours off the ebb without even a sniff until I packed up at 10:45. Nowt else caught off the end, I blame Sean reckon he got all the cod left in the north sea the night before...

on my last cast i got a codling was about 1.1/2lb or 2lb saved me from a blank so i was happy didnt catch nowt down the 44 then moved to the end goin straight off didnt catch nowt there then went around the south east corner for my last cast and got this.

I was down at first gate today as well from 11 - 8.30pm..

poor poor show - tried rag crab and mackeral.. seems big Davey done best out of everyone with his specimen brace of plaice on the end of the pier.

i managed a small pollack of a 1lb on second last cast.

my mate a whitey the size of ya hand on his last cast.

and my cousin a seagull! - safely returned after flying into his line and wrapping it around its wing.

lovely day though.. so caught lots of rays... but sadly not the fishy type.

cant believe that the one time l dont bother and what bloody happens my fault for being a cheapskate the missus is off work this week so gonna try and get out again as ive done the decorating in sitting room started first thing this morning so chuffed its done so put asmile on her face she said l new you would be up first thing just get it finished so you could go fishing ha ha im clever

yeah mate was gutted thinking i was goin home without catching a thing, put 2 crab on i had peeled and moved over the south east corner and casted out, seen a shooting star while it was out aswell might of give me some luck lol then reeled in and had a nice little codling.

give me a ring or text or drop me a pm on here mate il meet up and do abit fishing. il be out today at the walkway probly the pier seems abit dead my mate had a good few fish from the walkway yesterday biggest about 3lb maybe a little under
