Can anyone tell me where to park to fish s/s pier ?
I know there are the car parks @ the back, but don't they get locked ?
I am thinking of fishing it today.

away lads, i ain't after your secret bait, or special spot
I live 40+ miles away, and just need a bit of info. so I don't get me car locked in ?

park next to the old radar centre mate or next to the caravans. never gets locked. the pay and display carpark at the bottom of the pier gets locked at midnght. but am sure theres a few spaces before the barriers so u could park there if you were fishing late

i always park at the caravans when i fish the pier. never had any problems

The car park doesn't get closed until 11pm mate so if your leaving before then your fine.

If your gonna stay after that you will have to park near the entrance, before the barrier, as that part is open all night. If that is the case once you drive in to the car park turn right straight away and use one of those bays.

last time i went round the back they had put up a barrier saying residents only so i didnt chance it.

the main carpark is only £1 all day now and the small one near the road is open all night.

Many thanks lads,
Going to fish a couple of hours down, so should be off by 7.30-8.00pm.
Haven't fished it before, but fancied it for some time.
I just didn't fancy hiking with all my gear if I got locked in !
