Hi guys,

Went down this morning for about 8am. Once other lad there and another arrived not long after. Bit of a cloudy start but brightened up nicely.

Started on the small wall for 30 mins using a 4 hook luminous shrimp set up with a small zenith spinner... a dozen coalies later and the new lure rod was well and truly christened! Went for a Rovex Lure Pro 9ft... found it quite nice and light, easy to handle and had enough umpf to get coalies up and over the wall with easy. Throws a lure a nice distance too. As the tide eased I decided on hitting the blocks after Thunderpants good day yesterday using redgill eels. Went for a 4" eel with a red jig head and luminous body (figured that was the go to colour to try after all the coalies!!) Managed to winkle out another coalie and two Pollock, both Pollock about 1lb. Nothing massive but a lovely morning to be out and my first decent session of the summer. Oh, and the 2.5hrs I was there I didn't see another fish caught and I finished with around 15 in total :D ;)

Im struggling getting the photos uploaded with photobucket. Does anyone use anything else to get them on? Need them for the lure fishing challenge!! lol.

Good session there mate. My fishing has been crocked for a few days as I've got an infection in my knee and it's blown up like a balloon.
I've sent you a PM regarding uploading pics.

Photos... hopefully

If you load the pictures one at a time they can all be viewed without clicking on them;)
Hopefully the leg doesn't have to come off, the antibiotics seem to be doing the trick.
