south shields pier ??

Hello,was Gonna fish south shields pier tomorrow night just past the blocks
i aint fished there in a while any one any idea what its fishing like atm,baits ect.
oh and do you still catch them horrible pink hag fish from there

not seen many hag fish lateley and plenty of coalies and codling been caught some days

If you do fish keep an eye out for the pot's. I fished 11 days ago and pots every 40 yards, lost 2 rigs on way in.

Loads of coailes and small dabs witht he odd better flounder and codling mixed in. If you get alot of bites but not hooking them do what i did, fling one rod out with size 1/0 or 2 hooks on and you catch 2 dab or coalie at a time (small)

If not much tide give the end casting south east a bash, seen some nice codling from that mark this eyar and also the chance of the odd mackerel still of bait.
