fished from 6pm till 12 had alot of small cod had two on size fished great all the way to bottom water then went dead mackrel coming in all over so got myself 15 for freezer another good night and good banter there was three lads on pier when l left dont know if they got owt :yltype:

Jim any chance of an update on the watchmen? Are they leaving anglers in peace when they lock up or are they back to kicking off at 9pm only to let you walk back on again?

hi there m8 i was one of the three that was left on the pier. We fished all nite we had 18 fish(15 codling,1dab,1pouting, and a rocking) myself had 7 codling and a pouting. There sized from 33-42cm all went back alive. Was going to fish till 3 but the fish were biting so we stopped. It fished all nite and a brilliant nite it was.

We fished the small wall harbor side till the tide nearly pulled my rod in. Then moved to the small wall sea ward side for half the tide up. Got fish both sides more the harbor side. It seemed to fish better at first light. I took fresh and frozen crab but the frozen crab out done fresh which i thought was strangewas that the harbor side where you got the fish l would of stopped but had to get up for 6.30 stiil was a good night and well done on the fish

froozen baits wash out quiker giving a quik burst of juices and can fish better than fresh on occasions.
