Heaviest fish was 5lb 13 n a quarter, I had one 5lb 12 n 3 quarters! To miss it by a half ounce stings a bit but hey that's fishing eh?? The winning fish was from hebburn, I got mine from Jackies beach/Wreck point first chuck......got £73 and a icon rod rest.

I had 2 in first 2 casts one was 5lb 9 the other 4lb 13. Dropped one off around the same size on my third cast. All from a puddle at the north end of jackies,not sure why people been fussing over comp start time. Just missed out on cash but picked up a slosh30,better than nothing.

there was nowt doing 2nd bay marsden. sea looked good for cod. think its patchy now as the sea was away for a while. flattened off now.....
