Heaviest fish was 5lb 13 n a quarter, I had one 5lb 12 n 3 quarters! To miss it by a half ounce stings a bit but hey that's fishing eh?? The winning fish was from hebburn, I got mine from Jackies beach/Wreck point first chuck......got £73 and a icon rod rest.

There was one caught almost 6lb on first cast next to me behind souter lighthouse, Snapper from sea angler was there too.

Ha ha I can confess that I wasn't getting tired of collecting the envelopes. I get to keep the trophy for twelve months I got to keep my winnings for about 12 minutes that's the amount of time it took me to drive home and tell the Mrs.

I know I'm just too honest for my own good. I always look at the results and you're right it's good when someone local does the business. When you have a firery scottish redhead for a wife it doesn't pay to take the mickey ha ha.
