South Shields S.A.C - Away League comp (Craster), 24/06/2012

Hi all.

11 members travel north to Craster yesterday to fish this away league comp, and to what I have been told the weather was fairly good but the fishing wasnt. Kinda glad I didnt fish this one now!

Anyways, 11 members fished, 3 weighed in. The results are as follows:

1st - Phil Coates, 1 coalie, 1lb 5ozs

2nd - Joe McDonald, 1 pollock, 1lb 3ozs

3rd - Mark Robson, 1 coalie, 15ozs.

Heaviest Fish and Heaviest Bag both go to Phil Coates with the one coalfish.

Looks like the fishing was difficult, so well done to all who fished and all who managed to weigh in, well done lads.

looks like the crap weather and winds are killing it at the minute up northumberland.

The boats up that way aren't doing much better. This time last year we were 1/2 mile off caster and hitting plenty off good cod between 3lb and 7lb.

This year its been poor especially last couple weeks once the boats start taking fish close in on the hard ground then I will be heading up to try the shore marks after that hopefully they will return soon !.

Hopefully them payments will pay dividends in the future mate
