Myself and Geordie... had a look down the walkway last night about 2 hours before low water.

Geordie... had a rake of cracking bites, one almost pulling the tripod over :o but he caught a snag whilst retrieving and lost the lot.

Then he caught an undersized whiting, followed by a small dab. Me, I had bugger all apart from a lot of wayward casting!!! :D:o:o

Final throw of the dice resulted in Geordie... getting another good bite which resulted in him catching this.....

:)

We weren't sure on the minimum size for a lobster so I took it down the slipway at the yacht club and released it, especially considering it only had one claw. Didn't realise they swam backwards!!

PMSL @ Geordie... crapping himself as it momentarily crossed his foot whilst swimming off!!! Hahahaha

N1 lads - and the most respect for not being sure whether the lad (lass) was size and actually taking a bit of of time to return it. Looked close to me ;)

Outstanding example of how we should behave on our coastline. Brilliant :)

not 100% but i think the carapace length (thats the body bit from its hooter to where the tail starts is 87mm

slow growing fellas they are takes 7 to 8 years for one to get to size

And about 9.6 seconds to scran one Hmmmmm! If God had sense he'd have made them taste like cat's bumholes. Mind if he was an environmentalist he wouldn't have invented the rest of the world. UK PLC animal lovers to the last - I love us. We are great. And that includes you :D

Cormorants should be shot though - don't even try eating one

Feeling bad about the shooting Cormorant thing (my edit) only the odd one should be shot and then only if it's in a funny situation like your kitchen or THE SKY THE FREAKING BLACK DEATH HARRIDAnns ...........Sleeeepp Sleepppp
