Went down the walkway today from 9.30am til 2.30pm, wind was unbelievable yet again! Fished with frozen blacks and frozen mussel, lost 4 sets of gear due to tide & wind pulling my line in every direction, was a strange day on the river!
Only had 3 decent bites, one fell into a snag, one came off close in after getting my leader on the reel, and the last resulted in a sizable Whiting, which went back after photo to fight another day!
Was a cold and miserable day but at least i didnt blank and was better than staying in bed, although at times thats where i wished i was
