Fished Shields again yesterday with my mate Col from 5 till around 11.30. *Col managed a decent Coley and *a small codling. *I had a coley, a Turbot weighing just over the 1 lb mark, mackerel, 1 lb 7 oz kelpy codling, rockling, and then finished off with a slightly bigger codling 1lb 9 ozs.

Baits used were fresh crab, rag worm, mussel, fresh prawn and mackerel.

All fish were returned safely, although the two codling had a fish and chip supper stamped over them, I decided to release them. *
