south side of the river wear today 5/5/08

well i decided after i scored for a few crab this morning to have a few hours out ,so headed down to a mark between the stone boat and the vinager wells

first few casts resulted in zilch hour later gets good rattle and reels in a decent flounder at about a 1lb

things was very quiet after that so i decide one more chuck at about 6.30pm a short lob into the shallows and took this eel the slimy f..kr rapped me trace up

any way both fish was returned and that was me first attemt of the season.
