is it possible to replace the male spigot joint of a rod any info would be apreciated also any one know a shop or people that re whip/finish rods thanks in advance lads and lassie\'s

you can get it done ur best off contacting the company who made it and see if they do that sort of service

It\'ll be a bugger to replace a male spigot.

Unless things have changed, when I worked at Hardys the spigots were araldited in place.

If the male isn\'t broken, it\'s easier to take a fraction off the female joint.
