Spillers again

decided late last night i would have a mornings fishing with paulanth and rottenbottom we all decided on spillers...and had a feeling we would have a canny session looking by the conditions.

got down and bumped into an ex work colleague and he mentioned he had had a few flatties and kept waving everytime he had one...while we stood there...with nothing (you can imagine my overjoyus responce)...and then the tides turned...and in came the fish...i ended the day with 8 flounders and a whiting ...the biggest flounder 32 cm.

paulanth managed a couple of flounders too one of a good 35cm and just under 1lb.

rottenbottom ended up with 3 one being a nice one of about 1-1.5 lb's and a couple of tiddler whiting.

bait used was mackerel,lugworm rag and bluey...lugworm and rag was the bait of the day.

(a couple of mine i used species card as a sort of sizing thing lol)

good crack all round and plenty fish to keep me happy for another week.

(and it was fun to see and hear the people screaming as they ziplined across the tyne from the baltic haha)

We caught another couple each after you left mate nowt special like, all undersized,i ended the session with 5 caught and rottenbottom ended with 6,so it was a canny sesh in all with a total of 20 fish between the three of us,, Happydays

forgot to mention my first 2 flatties were a doubler!...shame i paniced as they were deep hooked so didnt bother with pictures.
