fished the tyne at spillars today,3 tiny whiting then when the tide turned i couldnt hold bottom despite my best efforts,might have a look down whitley on friday night with rest of my rag,lug and mussel.

think its down along past tyne tees tv,if you go past the courts and stay on the bottom road for about 3mins you see a big car park on the right that is fenced off,go to the end of it then you can walk into car park,well you could a few years back dont no if its the same

thats right described purfect, the big dregder starts work on sunday in the river for a month ,so it might knock the fishing off,mick theres a few good shots on the gateshead side just across from spillers down from the scooner pub the tide is not as strong
