spinner mould

just bought a mould for making those little silver sprat type spinner things, 40g and 60g, was thinking...anyone tried mixing a bit of zinc in with the lead so it keeps its shine once poured cooled. was going to powder coat them, but you loose a lot of the texture/scales/markings on em

cracking mould though, paid for it self already, just knocked 40 of em out for the summer

Mark have you tried the silver aluminium tape? works a treat as long as you smooth all the creases out by rubbibg with a cloth.

Keith, It`s cheaper to keep the tape for cooking the christmas turkey and just throw the coins overboard not as much fun mind you

been dipping the cols lures in some chrome silver powder coat, then baking em and its working champion, being cold they only pick of a tiny layer of powder, but bak perfectly

the bairn wants to go into business flogging em on ebay!
