hi all was after some info on coalie spinning:confused:
never done it before so would like to give it ago some time:)
anywhere along the tyne where you can go:confused: im on the walker side:)
and can i just use normal spinners or is there a certain type there parcial too:confused:
i know the piers are me best bet but incase i cant get to those:):D
cheers:D:D

Spinning in the Tyne for me is just not the place. Tyne is useually murky which makes spinning less productive as the fish can't see it. But if you want to give it a go north shields fish quay throws up a coupple every now and then. And when the makky are in full swing you sometimes get them that far :)

But if you want decent spinning try your local rock marks, plenty of Marks with access to deep water where you are more likely to hook polack, coalie, and the occasional cod.

Spinning you can use standard spinners, jelly worms, small hockais (blue deadly for coalie), daylights.

Good luck mate :)

Dean.

Remember being on rOker pier once using single spinner must of had 20+ coalies in no time when everyone around me was pulling in mackerel.

Yeah mate and you can catch the odd guillemot aswell haha, but yeah I would say 3 up 3 down would be best to avoid snags.

Haha a roasted guillemot dinner sounds nicer lol, I know the felling mate I'm dieing to get out spinning aswell, wish those kamikaze mackerel would hurry up so can get a few in. It'll be chav season before long and the normal fishing times for us normal people changes to daft O'clock for safety reason.

it'l be striped too the waist steller cans and the odd makeral feather in the eye being the norm soon:(
wont let them spoil me fun though i will just shout DEPARTMENT OF WORK AND PENNSIONS!! dont see them for dust after that!:D:D:D
