Spinning for pollock

ana i post quick alot but im just sort of trying to figure out some new fishing spots, anyone know of any decent places to spin for pollock? once again bare in mind im from hebburn lol..i no of some of the spinning places for pollock down at beadnell and that but thts out of reach for me until i get a new car.. so any where closer lads?
 
Had a bit success in the last couple of years since starting to use jellyworms on leadheads, bright ones take mackerel as well.

Either side of the blocks at dawn or dusk with either a regill or a silver bar type spinner fished slow and deep should give you something like this:

Just remember to take a drop net!!

Just remember, not many pollack around our waters yet so if you dont want it put it back, lets face it many other fish taste better.

I have had about 35 pollack from shields in the last 2 years, all on spinners or white redgills cast out short range 40-60 yards up or down from the blocks.

Aye, its Emma, apparently she went to Boldon Comp with your lass, small world eh??

She caught the pollack last summer, weighed in at 4lb 6oz and made the Shields Gazette courtesy of Terry Woods.
