Hi chaps can anyone help just wondering what r the best type of soft lures worms shads eels etc to spin from the shore with" have,nt done much spinning over the years but really fancy a good bash at it now any advice I would be most grateful cheers.

depends where your fishing m8, jelly worms are good with jig heads, black with a pink or red firetail is what i prefer. senith spinners are ok too but i tend to change the treble hook on them. i also like sidewinder sandeels the mackerel with red fire tail are the pick of the bunch.

fire tails it is then " gunna a give it abash at this place between the point at cullernose and craster its like a huge gulley with small Island dunno what u call the place but I was up there last wk at low water and it looks like its crying out for a lure to be chucked in .theres just a long stretch of sand with kelp either side, got to be Pollock in there man:D

Firetails will winkle out a decent Pollock for you im sure, Zenith spinners as Mike says are a cracking all rounder, mackerel, coalies, Pollock.... etc. Let us know how you get on!

I can't believe the trusty SG Sandeel hasn't been recommended, especially for pollock it's a absolute killer. They will also take many other species.
