looking to get out and fish over low tide tomorrow morning trying my hand at bit spinning, im wondering wheres best as just want to stay local or short drive, thought about having look at newbiggin or seaton sluice even st marys.
What you folk think be good place to potter about, good safe marks etc, not bothered about pulling monsters out just in it for the sport,

Try anywhere with a bit of water depth mate, blyth pier is your way, try a teaser rig that the lads use for catching launce and if you fish hard to the pier then you will bag up on loads of 6-9" coalies. A good laugh on a really light rod and beats being in the house!

What's best to fish it? Couple hours down then till turns , don't know area so don't fancy getting cut off n looking silly

two or three hours either side of low water depending on size of tide, fish it when the sea is flat like its been the last week ,start at the bottom and work your way to the top of pipe. Pollock coalys, macky and odd bass. davy.

Just fished pipe 2nite 3 hours Nowt very disappointed water crystal clear used every colour spinner and even abit plugging :( no 2 tides the same they say ? but thought a would of picked up some small stuff

Fished the pipe Friday and had two pollock off the end, nothing massive mind. Fish are sparse on there at the moment, good luck if you give it a go
