alright guys i`m looking for a cheapo set of spinning rod n reel under the 20 quid mark ....seems to be a few on fleabay ... theres telescopic and non telescopic /....anyone have anysay on them and would yous know if telescopic is better or worse than two piece spinnig rods... cheers

aaa i see.. nee worries like mate ...cheers for that .... thre are quite a few rods out there cheapos and i know they re floppy but hey its for spinning from the pier.....so i will look for summit soon

Got the Fladden Eco spinning rod in the lightest version from Yorkshire Trading, cheap and cheerfull but does the job. They've got a selection of rod and reel combo deals on and a small selection of tackle.

Have you looked in Boyes mate? They have loads of cheap, but decent gear..

Try the Leeda Sea Spin mate. A very decent rod for the money (about £20 i last year). If your near Middlesbrough in the near future, you can have mine for £12...

how long is the sea spin jim ?

It's the 9ft version, casting weight 20-50g. Had a few bass on it last year and it worked a treat.

try lidl mate if theres one near u i got a half decent spinning reel from there a couple of weeks ago and a box of glowsticks for 15 quid but noticed they had rod and reel combos for 19.99. Hope this helps tight lines alan

Was in our local B&M today and spotted 2.1 metre rod with fixed spool and line for £19.99. Don't know if you have a B&M near you but could be worth a look.
