Nice self deprecating speech by Andy Murray tonight - Winner of Get a Personality in a Year Competition !

Seriously great to see him win again. :)

Can't believe he won it for a tinpot tennis comp. fair enough when he won wimbledon. 4 or 5 candidates more deserving than him.

I agree,

My vote went to Tyson Fury by a mile.

What a achievement !!! world heavyweight boxing champion of the world !!!!!!!
never mind what his opinion's are its what his achievements are.

Yeh, it would have either been Fury or Farah for me.

I did expect Farah to be higher up the list and surprised Sinfield was second.

I hardly think beating a washed up boxer in his 40th year is much of an achievement!

Cannot deny Tyson Fury's achievement but the award is for the sports personality of the year and as such I feel Murray was the right choice.
Tyson is certainly a character but he's not blessed with any sense of diplomacy and his previous references to women in the kitchen and same sex relationships may have done for him. Not saying I agree or disagree with his comments but there's a time and place for airing such opinions.

this is an open forum, and this is my opinion,
I watch boxing closely, now retired.
well done Tyson fury, heavy weight champion of the world.
he did'nt win spotty, because he didn't deserve it.
watch young Anthony Joshua, if Tyson has the bottle.

actually kakos the light bulb has eventually lit up, it's a sweetener for you jocks in an effort to avoid another independence referendum in the near future. god only knows why:confused:

LOL yeah it's not much of an achievement at all beating the man who has dominated the heavyweight division for the past 10 years and winning world titles...Any title from Regional to British to European and World is a very big achievement in any sport but someone who has never won any of those would not know the hard work and dedication it takes to get there and simply type "it's not much of an achievement" Extremely laughable:)

Yeah so dodgy, the public voted.................... he lost.

As I said though, I was surprised how low down he came.
