SS Groyne Tues night

Me and 2 pals fished the groyne last night from 6.30pm to catch the last of the ebb and we had 4 sized codling the best around 1lb 10oz, 1 sized flounder and 2 undersize codling

A few other lads turned up but had no luck while we were there

After the flood it just became weed city in the channel so I fished short directly off the end[lost a few set ups like] resulting in 2 more sized codling but again around a 1lb, we carried on but had nothing else and left well before high water

Baits used = Blacks,lug,rag,mussel,frozen crab,mackerel

*All fish taken on blacks n lug again*

Never 2 sessions alike even when conditions look great

Great report and well done. I used to fish there a lot when I was younger. Think I'm due a return.

that was me nd me mate who were fishing next to metal structure we went to milldam after the weed came on and got a few little tommys nowt special though

Ah well saved the blank then mate, cant work it out with the conditions like
but we keep trying anyway haha
