SS pier 17th Nov

[Blanked again]

Fished the 1st gate 4pm - 9pm. My mate caught 3 Coleys up to 40cm and i saved the blank with a Rockling . All fish were caught about 50yds out with the distance rod catching nowt. Macky and Squid is what the fish took with lug and rag feeding the crabs.
No mention of anything decent from the lads heading off but there were still a few lads further up when we left.

at least you didn't blank.
i fished about half way up to the gate, managed 3 whiting.
Left just before 9pm and finished off a Jarrow. crabs at Jarrow.

fished last night with the brother in law 100 yds up from brigade hut was pretty slow going finished up with 3 whiting, up till last night have done well from there on my last three trips have had some nice sized coleys and whiting
