Me and me owld mate Hooker and his better half Jude, decided on an all nighter on SSP last night.
After a very warm walk up to the end we got set up for midnight. First cast I got a Lobster, quickly followed by a canny Pouting.
The rain was just enough to cool us down (18 degrees last night.) Hooker caught a couple of Pouting and a Weever, Jude had a Pouting and smaller weever.
About 3.30 her rod got a hell of a tug and she struck into what she thought was a snag. It kept coming in slowly and she managed to land this.
Made her night. We had a couple more pouting but that was it
The macky bashers made a showing as early as 4am so we had a few more casts and called it a night.
Cracking night out with great crack (& Crackoffs Les.....) Good company and great result for Jude.
Bait used was Rag, Macky, Squid, runnydown and launce.
