Fished the slab area of South Shields pier today 11.30 - 16.00 fished with two rods, baits were rag and bluey only one small whiting for the session but saved the blank, every time the bait hit the bottom the crabs were straight onto it there was a few lads either side but only seen a couple of small flatties caught but not a bad day to be out

good effort, I got a nice coley from the slab last week.

whats the sea like? flat? I'm going out for a bit in the next hour, to fish down to low tide. probably the pier, (or the beach), (or marsden) (I'll decide when I get there!)

I fished off Marsdon rocks for a few hours resulting in a see through micro dab that took a 8 inch black lug bait 3 times the size of its self on A size 5 hook lol
