Sorry lads, but you don't show anglers up in the best light, in my opinion, by posting images of waves close to topping a pier. In reality, you are not qualified to say whether waves would or would not have power to knock you off your feet. The wave decides that at any one time and there are plenty of grieving families around to testify. Why test the extremes, it won't be you left to pick up the pieces when things turn out to be the other side of safe? If a port authority was ever looking for justification to close piers to anglers, your helping them along.
