ssp overnight parking

Hi, I'm off to ssp tonight. I hope anyway... I used to park in the residential area at back of the fair thing next to the pier, but lately been parking in the road behind the park which is a bit of a hike.. Is there anywhere closer that's safe.

The pier car park. Park in the line of bays closest to the road, they do not get locked. Never had any bother there.

I might be staying into Sunday morning, do you usually buy a ticket to cover you into the day?

I think the charges end at 8pm and start again at 8am but don't quote me on that. I buy a seafront parking permit for the year as I am down at least a couple of times a week so I don't really pay that much attention to the charging notices.

cheers, I'll have a peak, hopefully be able to buy a ticket to cover me as it would be a pain in the ass to come off the pier at 8am just to buy a ticket then walk back up

How much are the permits

£52.50. Park in any seafront car park up to Whitburn and also at Temple Park and Monkton Stadium.

I've been getting them for a couple of years now. Quite a bit to spend at one time on parking but well worth it over the year.
