Had a couple of hours to kill before work so headed down about 2pm. Was hoping for a decent bit of tide running to catch a couple of maccys but was greeted by a mass of river water pouring out between the piers....
A pile of lads already fishing so found a smalll spot directly off the end with only one lad to my right. 2nd cast... maccy on.... was pretty much like that for the hour I was there..... 16 fish in an hour so not too bad!
My only gripe was a group of Asian gentlemen who promptly set up 2m to my left after seeing me hook into maccy.... One of which I was on the verge of smacking in the chops.... not only was he intent on standing virtually on top of me, he kept swinging his rod around over my head to sink and draw his daylights....
Luckily i noticed his tip ring was missing the plastic insert so every other cast his line parted and he lost his gear.... would have told him but hey ho.... he was an idiot and cheesing me off
Ended up running off the pier just before the stormy heavens opened with 6 maccy kept.... not bad for an hour out the house!
