Evening gents....

Just rocked in from the pier and leas....

Turned up and there were a few on the pier fishing, a lad who had only been fishing 4x and his mate and I assume son.... they had a few so thought why not.... beats being in the house... despite the rain!

Second cast and into the maccy on Zenith spinners. Took a few others untill I noticed all of the sprats jumping alongside the pier wall..... spun along the wall parallel to the pier and maccy a cast for 30mins! Ended up with 20+. Freezer full for the winter.

Next cast and BANG..... what on earth was that? Then I looked over the edge.... SEAGULL !!! Or so I thought. I was just about to grab it when a lad came over and said not to just grab it... apparently it was a petrol and promptly started firing green / yellow poop out of its mouth everywhere!!! Ended up sneaking behind it and covering its projectile vomit with a towel lol

Ran off for high tide fishing over the Leas.... nowt doing for me but happy enough. Possibly one of my last spinning sessions and it was a good un.

There was a pod of Dolphins kicking about as I turned up aswell, real close to the pier..... glad I didnt hit into one of them!!

Well done mate a great session there. Mackie give a good fight on the spinners one of my favourite ways to go fishing. Hopefully they will still be there tomorrow morning when I'm out

Nice one julio good to hear there's still some kicking about, need a few more to top freezer up myself. What's with the seagul petrol what does that mean.
