St abbs

Set off at half 2 saturday morning to go to st abbs, had razor mussel, rag and blueys for bait. got up there around 4 and found the mark i wanted to fish. fished there the half 11 and didnt catch a thing!! i tried every method i new but nothing was doing. lost quite a bit gear in the kelp reckon i need to get some crab for next time. either that or learn more about fishing lol. left St abbs and headed to Newbigin to meat up with Greg, played round on the rocks got just the one macky on the spinning gear. enjoyed the day anyway even without the fish. going to book my crab today for next friday. although am not sure where to go yet.

yeah am alwasy trying might give south shields pier a go tonight.

You should try the pier as there have been some good reports of fish from the blocks there. Wish i had joined you at St Abbs but a couple of hours sleep would have been no good for me. I'll be there next time tho!! There were some good reports from Craster on Saturday night......21LB bags of cod!!
