st.marys island today 23rd

headed up at this morning with jonny h, got there nice and early, went to the left front of the light house to start off, was abit over cast and showers on and off allday, chucked the bait rod out and started spinning, lost a nice big fish that had my spinning rod doubled over, couple of casts later pulled in a nice pollack on muscle tipped with prawn, plenty so seals popping up and watching us fish, one tryed to have away with my lumi eel spinner so i packed the spinners away!! seen a bloke come past on his kayak for a bit fishing, really fancy one at!, went quiet for a while with a few bites but nothing coming of them, we moved round to the right jonny had a wrasse in then the rain started so we headed off, cracking sesh even though there wasnt much fish! big thanks to jonny h for the sesh!

the seal was coming right up to where i was fishing like 2ft away! i pooped me pants the first time just seen a head pop up next to me feet haha, you dont need anymore for the hunt!!! hahaha!

Still need to add my 2 lol you should have tried in one of the gulleys for a blenny there is loads around the lighthouse i will defo give it a go for a wrasse : )
