Does anybody know if there are many fish getting caught round this area at the moment the reason i ask is that our old fella soon has 21 days off and we are looking to do some fishing in this time.

The marks round our end ( Hartlepool) at the minute are whicked with whities i\"m even catching them off the rock edges where i have never in my life caught whities before. I\"m sure the Codling are there its just that if you get one you\"ve cast straight onto its nose!

there were a few fish the other week from round there but havnt heard owt of late.

Fished at the post on st marys last night.Two codlings about 2lb apiece and a couple of coalies.Mind you it was a tiny tide like,best pick a decent sized ebb!

I think i\"ll be doing a bit round there in the next week or so then a bit round the december up to Christmas period.

Had a few fish off here nothing massive but in a wierd sort of way its enjoyable and the expectation of catching bigger fish is always there.

Hopefully the Whities wont read this message and all head for St mary\"s I\"m getting sick of catching them at this moment in time even a flattie would do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
