Fished 8 am til 11.30 straight off the back of lighthouse, managed 1 codling, 1 rockling, 1 granny, the sea became just too rough, with huge waves almost soaking me several times, moved to the beach and blanked, good job the sun was shining!

Well done for the fish. The back of the Island is an exposed mark when the sea starts to pick up. Try having a look at the west bay skeer, to the north of the causeway next time the sea’s rough.
