Was just wondering does any body know how deep it is across the course way when the tide is in? Could you wade through it?

You can certainly wade it on the smaller tides - on the real small tides the causeway doesn't even get covered at high tide. Just be wary if there's any sea running as with a swell on it can rip through, making it a bit dodgy.
