Off to st monans next weekend, anybody have any idea about the area?

fished area a good few times while on holidays.loads of like finger skeers only need 5yd lob,any further means you cast into next skeer.fish say quarter of mile from caravan site {the 1 right on coast} head south.l/w best awell as usual crab baits.good luck.ps,1 session there had 5in5 casts,was only using stone in scoop bag for leads as i had forgot them at van lol.

Been doing abit of research on the area, the fishing looks great through the summer months! Can't wait til I get up there! Cheers mate

just relized that was crail i was fishing. anyway ill start again. been here also last 3 years as it happens,stayed in 4winds 2 times aswell as sea breeze,very good holiday houses to rent.fishing wise pittenweem next village piers a good shot,ask harbour master 1st,as its not clever in some places,but end of pier is good.hes usually at the small fish quay.or better again theres anstruther pier only 3 miles away,fish @ chips r very good there,as for scraps if you want batter,lol.then for really good red cod fishing just north of anstruther is cellardyke,the main skeer runs left to right.mind it is very bad bottom,had some nice reddies from here up to 6lb,as said though very bad bottom.finally theres the small pier in st.monans,but havent had much from here.good luck.got there in the end.
