fished st peters basin today. got there roughly 3.30pm and fished until roughly 8.30pm. using black lug and mussel as usual and managed to get 1 small whiting. a lad i know only came with mussel so i gave him 3 black lug. and he caught 3 small codling with each 1. met someone off here also fishing and sure he had a whiting as did others. i am sure there were a few flattys caught aswell which is usually the case at this mark from what i've heard. happy with the small whiting which i put back, because it means i didnt blank.

also i have noticed you get alot of kids here during the weekend, there was 2 young lads no older than 14 trying to bum tabs and sell their rag as they had lost their weights. that didnt really bother me, but they pointed to my weights and asked for 1. i had 4/5/6 oz grippers (i didnt give them 1). their line didnt look up too much. so just be careful if you park your car here and look out for weights shooting passed your head... :o:rolleyes:
