hi lads anyone know someone reliable in the hartlepool area that would fit a starter motor/solenoid to a cummins 1.7 diesel engine in a quicksilver 630 boat in hartlepool marina cheers lads.

where are you berthed, Marina or Kafiga ? or is it on a trailer ?

berthed on c pontoon in the marina just sold my trailer typical so permanent berth thanks for the reply

If you speak to Gary, the lad who drives the crane when they lift out, he may do it, or he'll know someone.

If you go over Kafiga on the headland ask for Alan Vale, he does all the trawlers and some private boats.

are you sure the starter is knackered

thanks for the reply, motor definately burnt out due to engine running whilst starter motor engaged long story, i know gary so i will ask him thanks for your help much appreciated.
