Hello lads,just got back in. Went down today for a 12pm till 6pm session. caught pound an half codling at low tide then just two whities. Thought they would have been hammered cos there was a nice sea on.
Crack is new years day was poor. Sea was flat.
Right- back out in 10 mins for night shift.

me and my pal were on steetley yesterday didnt arrive til bwt 6pm.we fished of the wooden platform half way along.we only caught whities but saw some nice codling caught they were all between 4 to 6 pound.trying again sunday plenty bait left.

Bill me and my mate are down on Tuesday. Were the fish you seen caught off the end or behind the breakers. One of the Pool lads i know was just going on as i left on Friday and he was going on about 6pm. He said he going to was fish behind the breakers. The lad is a bl--dy good angler as well. Bet he got the some decent fish.
