Well lads if your cod stuffs in the cupboard till next season leave it there.
Went on Steetly today. Lovely day for fishing- sunshine and clear views. Nice swell rolling in.
One lad next to me caught a nice spring Codling 2-1/2 pound thought bingo game on.
Yeah you guessed right-went quiet. The odd whitie and postage size dabs.
Couple lads came on later using fresh blacks and caught 3 more codling. One about 4-5 lb. Other about 3lb and a one about 2lb. Then that was it.
Again there was a few of us fishing using every bait open.
But was just one of those days.
Still i caught a few whities and dabs so i did,nt blank
AND it was much better weather.
I don,t think it will be to long for Mackeral.
There was also loads of little boats just half a mile off the Headland and they are only there for one reason-must have been getting Cod.
Took some photies but her indooors has to upload.
I,ll put them on tomorrow all being well.
