Well lads missus got in from work at 1PM and i was out the door 1:01pm off down the pool for some big cod. Had frozen runny, squid and macky. Stopped off Charlies at the Friarage for some Rag. Lovely stuff again.
Twin steps looked far to heavy some big rollers coming in with the nw.
Parked the motor up in the estate and walked up to Steetly with me trolley.
Full of anticipation but was disappointed to see just whities caught by quite a few anglers. Set up not far from the end and then moved onto the end. Had about 6 whities which all went back.
No Cod but thanks to some guys-John who gave me 10 peeler and another lad off the forum whose name escapes me for some lovely fresh runny and rag.
Me and Insano will be using the bait tomorrow hoping for a big Cod from the rocks at Newbiggun.
Next time down the Pool poss Friday its supposed to turn NE. Where is the Cod,always seem to miss them by one day?.
