fished steetly today from 9am till 2pm the sea was massive, and as the day went on it just got bigger. the wind went from gale force as the day went on, to hurricane and the rain which was coming at us horizonterly was a downpour, but as the day went on turned to monsoon status, it was also freezing cold, my mate got a whiting the only fish i saw except for another even smaller pin whiting that a bloke cought ,we all went over to congradulate him ,my lighter would't work, i forgot to put sugar in my coffee and my car was set on fire [only kidding on the last one] all in all a jolly nice day out. ps we also spent about 300 pounds on bait.

At least you went out and gave it a try and as I keep telling myself "you can only catch fish if you go out and fish for them" Trouble is I don't, but its fun trying

I popped over today Paul after the open was cancelled. Sat in my car on the prom looking over and thinking should i or should,nt i. Well the car was rockin with the wind and i could see the masses of white water and i thought is a cod worth all the chew so i headed round to the red light.
I ended up behind the wall where the white building is fishing into the rocks. Thought well if its a sinker a cast its a sinker a cast. Used big baits but alas nothing much.
Lost about 4 plain leads and a couple of leaders (one of them was a crack off) so all in all not a bad day considering.
Should be ok when this lot dies down-razer of steetly will get fish.
