steetly pier

Fished well Thursday daytime with plenty up to 6lb, also heard of a 12lber but didn't see it meself. Thursday night was patchy with fish to 4lb and a 3lb Haddock. Was only small Coalies and Dabs today, with Whities coming on in the dark as I left, a couple of doggies were caught though, and a 5lb Bass.

Anyone know if you can still pay to have your car watched by the "security guards"in the shed?
I payed £30.00 inFebruary to join' but I am still waiting for my pass to be posted.!!!
Anyone else had a similar experience.
Many thanks..Bazzacodbasha

There's no membership now mate so forget about your card, you can still drop the 'new security' a couple of quid to keep an eye on your motor.

Never fished this pier before but had a ride down once for a look, they wouldn't let me on unless I paid, which I wasn't prepared to do because I wasn't fishing, if you no longer need to be a member do you still have to pay?

Sounds like someone is doing ok on here lol. This is a mark that I have fancied fishing for years, not about to be ripped off though.

Jim.

i had a walk down the other week to take a look. got talking to the security guard and he said the old security firm went bust.
like uggy said you don't need a pass anymore, and the security guard will watch your car for a couple of quid.
i have'nt fished here before, so gonna give it a try, just waiting for a big lumpy sea.
one bit of advice though, take the longest rod you own, there's a big pipe runs along each side of the pier and the longer your rod, the easier it will be to retrieve your gear.
there is a rumour that the pier has been sold and is going to be broken up.
anyone heard owt ???
