steetly today

me and mick dunn fished from about 2pm til 9.30 ish, all i can say is crap!!

lots fishing and only saw one undersized codling all day. Plenty of whiting around though which were a pest at times.

Bad luck Ian, things should pick up again when the wind changes again. There seems to be a lot of good fish out there this season.

Jim.

The sea had flattened off a lot more than i expected however there was still a lazy roll on and plenty of colour in the water. I really expected one or two big fish to be caught. Instead i wasted about 15 quid of bait including runnydown, rag, razor, squid. I even took a bit mackerel whic i used on a second rod fo a bit fun with the whiteys.

I know what you mean, it can be a very expensive day out from here by the time you pay for bait and then fuel. I used to do it three or four times a week. Don't mind when you catch the odd one but it gets a bit over the top when you have a few blanks mate.

Jim.
