Went out last saturday 31st to see if anthing is out there, not expecting much, But very surprised still ling coming in on squid drift was fast in morning hard going then slack came and so did the fish ended up with 40 plus fish biggest 10 pound not bad for this time of year

Weather seems ok on Sat, had already planned a trip over the rough ground but with a couple of good reports jfk/famous i maybe tempted by the odd 1-3 mile wreck.

The sea will have to drop off a lot if you want to fish on Sat, it’s really come away today. I’m just back from a session on Whitley beach where there’s a good swell rolling in. I think I’ll spend the weekend looking for a new boat instead of being out on one.

I think by Sat it should have a south roll on it but should make it out, will double check about 8pm Friday for a yes or no, only going off the piers anyway.
