been down the front this morning and the sea is still far to big, if the forecast is right would think thursday and friday will be the best nights, if you fancy fishing low water in the early hours.
 
It will be Thursday for me too. Be a few out tomorrow no doubt but i will be at Old Trafford:)

Looking forward to the reports but stay safe lads.

just had a text from my dad saying tynemouth longsands still full of white water and sea is still massive, looking to fish a rock mark friday so hopefully throw a few up.

Tried last night alan but unfotunatley everywhere weeded up :rolleyes:

Yes all the popular big sea marks will be rammed over the next couple of nights!
At least their will be plenty lads there to hand ball my fish up ;)
 
just been down again, wind has picked up since this morning and so has the sea. Look forward to your reports. Typical first big seas pulls all the loose, dead and dying weed out and chucks it on the beaches.
 
friday would be right Alan. I fish every Friday but am away for my bday and 10th anniversary this friday :(. I know it probs be my last anniversary though if I went fishing instead lol
 
Had arranged to go out with my mate tomorrow afternoon. We are new to this and its the first time we have been faced with a "big sea". Could anyone suggest a mark ?

Wherever you decide to fish,(open sea mark) stand back and watch where you are going to be fishing for at least 5 minutes first mate.
Keep one eye on the sea at all times while fishing and be aware that on some marks the swell can lift with the turn of the tide! What I mean is if you fish up to high water don't assume your safe, because as the tide starts to ebb you can get a series of larger waves that catch you off guard! :o
Won't be a problem now you know though!:)

Aye yer not wrong there Alan. Looking out over Boulmer beach last night it was covered....Lovely decomposing seaweedy smell too.

Thinking about heading out tonight, but fancied fishing a high water shot which I know will be sheltered from the worst of the weather and weed.
Bloody after midnight tho and got work tomorrow so am in two minds!

Might have to try elsewhere and fish up!
 
Just been down Cambois and the sea is still bigish down there, the wind was was blowing Northerly. Thinking of having a sesh tomorrow afternoon and early doors Friday morning.

sea starting to die off nicely, few fish on Whitley lasy night, but should be better over next few nights/days looking forward to some good catch reports for my columns next week.
