Well with the day off and the forcast looking good off we set, myself and my mams first wrecking trip.
Stopped off at the normal close in marks about 7am but was met with muddy water from the NE winds last week and after 2 hours of about 5 locations the result was zero.
Headed off to find abit cleaner water and that came at about 7 miles, plugged away with myself using pirks and my mam using baited daylights.
The ling came on the feed and this was also aided with 5 fresh mackerel.
It was by no means steady away with nothing for a hour works work then 3-4-5 in the space of 10mins.
Standard codling
So after a lot of miles covered a cracking sun tann and tired arms we headed in with a total catch of....
16 ling (upto 7lb)
3 codling (upto 4lb)
loads of pouting
5 mackerel
